LeBron James seems to really have some sort of pull in Cleveland already. Since signing the Cavs added former Miami Heat teammate Mike Miller and now have agreed to terms with another former Heat teammate of LeBron’s, three-point marksman James Jones. Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal first broke the news of Jones agreeing to terms with the Cavs.
Jones’s contract will be a one year deal on the veteran’s minimum. Jones, 33, played for the Heat last season, scoring 4.9 points per game. In his 11-year career, the former three point shootout champion is known for his shooting prowess. For his career he has made 40 % of his 3-pointers.
Now the piece that the Cavs would love to add is Ray Allen and then the Cavaliers will be set on the perimeter with the shooting skills of Miller, Jones and if they can get Jesus Shuttlesworth himself, Ray Allen.
