Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s footwear imprint, Project Rock, is now an official partner of the UFC. Moving forward, all UFC fighters will receive Project Rock footwear in their fight kits. In return, fighters will wear Project Rock footwear in their locker rooms and during walks to the octagon on fight night. Adding on, fighters will receive Project Rock BSR training shoes, Project Rock slides and limited-edition Project Rock x UFC co-branded BRS 2 training shoes for their personal use.
“UFC athletes are amongst the greatest, toughest, focused, most disciplined and hardest training athletes on the planet,” Johnson said in a statement obtained by Hypebeast.
“Every walk to the iconic Octagon by a UFC fighter is fueled with passion, mana and the deep desire to establish their dominance and legacy. I am proud, grateful and humbled that my innovative Project Rock training shoe is now the official global footwear partner of UFC.”
Project Rock’s partnership with the UFC kicked off during UFC 270 and will extend for years to come. Financial details regarding the deal have not been released to the public as of yet.
