Donald Trump travelled to Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday, October 10th to hold his first rally since Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi formally announced an impeachment inquiry into the The Apprentice host’s actions regarding Ukraine officials. During the rally, Trump fired shots at a number of his political opponents including the Biden family, Pelosi, Rep. Ilhan Omar and more. However, the one person he did not fire shots was the one who fired back hardest.

During his political rally in the state of Minnesota, Donald Trump was welcomed in by Prince’s classic, “Purple Rain”. Shortly after, Prince’s estate demanded that the New York native not use his music in any of his public events. The superstar’s estate issued an official statement through Twitter.
The estate tweeted, “President Trump played Prince’s “Purple Rain” tonight at a campaign event in Minneapolis despite confirming a year ago that the campaign would not use Prince’s music.”
Prince’s representatives ended by asserting, “The Prince Estate will never give permission to President Trump to use Prince’s songs.”
Along with the statement, Prince’s estate included a letter from Trump’s team dated October 11th 2018. Apparently, Prince’s estate had warned the former reality TV show host about using Prince’s music before. In response, Trump reportedly agreed not to use the singer’s music moving forward. Unfortunately, Trump’s team has broken their promise.
The White House has not publicly responded to this demand as of yet.
