Post Malone is bringing his latest album, Twelve Carat Toothache, to the realm of virtual reality. The chart-topping star has partnered with Meta, formerly Facebook, to develop a musical piece called “Post Malone’s Twelve Carat Toothache: A VR Experience.” The 40-minute concert film is set to debut on July 15, 2022.
“Directed by Lewis Smithingham and produced by Westbrook Media and Media Monks, the 180-degree experience, created specifically for VR, coincides with the recent release of Post Malone’s new album Twelve Carat Toothache. The immersive performance, with special appearances by The Kid Laroi, Fleet Foxes and Roddy Ricch, will allow viewers to see and hear his raw journey through the ups and downs of life, pleasure and pain, light and dark, fame and decay,” the project’s description reads.
Adding to the concert film experience, Post Malone will be joined by The Kid Laroi and Roddy Ricch as he performs some of his biggest hits of the summer. Fans can capture this special moment in Post Malone’s career via Venues within Horizon Worlds.
