Post Malone has revealed the title of his sixth studio album — F-1 Trillion. The singer’s upcoming project is set for release on August 16, 2024, one year after Austin.
Post Malone didn’t share much regarding the project’s sound or visual direction other than what looks like a photo of a car’s backlights. Given his dynamic music making ability, the chart-topping artist could go in several directions. He rose to prominence in the mid to late 2010s with more Rap and R&B-influenced records like “White Iverson” and “Congratulations.” Then, he struck goal with the smash Pop hit, “Sunflower,” from the Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse soundtrack. Most recently, he’s dabbled in the world of country music through his most recent album, Austin, and collaborations with Morgan Wallen and Beyoncé.
F-1 Trillion adds yet another album to the jam packed summer calendar. Through the first of the half year, Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Normani, Tems, Kaytranada and several other notable artists have delivered new music. Not to mention, Kendrick Lamar and Drake have released an album’s worth of diss tracks aimed at each other. Heading into the second half of the year, Kendrick Lamar is also rumored to be releasing new music while Drake continues to tease something new of his own. Adding on, Kehlani, Sabrina Carpenter, Megan Thee Stallion, Eminem, Omar Apollo, Camila Cabello, Lil’ Yachty and James Blake are all readying new LPs. Simply put, there’s a lot of new music on the way.
