Tommy Richman has titled his debut album, Coyote. There’s no track list or release date just yet, but the emerging artist is building upon the success of his breakout hit, “Million Dollar Baby.” Officially released on April 26, 2024, “Million Dollar Baby” blew up in the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia area alongside TikTok before taking the charts by storm in mid to late May. Thus far, it’s earned platinum plaques in two countries and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Most recently, he followed-up with a new track called “Devil Is A Lie,” which has picked up nearly 10 million streams on Spotify in less than a week.
“He’s moving with a sense of urgency and capitalizing on momentum unlike a lot of artists who catch 1 song and parade around for a year and then miss their moment. Kudos to him and his team,” Russ tweeted.
“You can tell the artists who are prepared to blow up vs the ones who aren’t. Move like you know it’s gonna happen.”
While the wait for the album begins, fans can continue to stream his back catalog along with his latest release of catch him as part of this year’s Lollapalooza lineup.
