Rapsody, joined by Niko Brim, will embark on the Please Don’t Cry Tour this fall. The North Carolina native is scheduled to perform September 6, 2024 in Berlin, Germany before making stops in Amsterdam, Paris and London before returning home. The North American leg of the tour will begin Thursday, September 19 in Philadelphia before making its way through New York, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles and several other major cities. Ultimately, the tour will conclude on October 27 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Please Don’t Cry Tour begins following the release of Rapsody’s fourth studio album. The 22-chapter project includes contributions from Phylicia Rashad, Hit-Boy, Bee-B, DIXSON, Alex Isley, Erykah Badu, Bibi Bourelly, Nicole Bus, Niko Brim and Amber Navran. Danilo Castro of HotNewHipHop called it a “lyrical masterpiece” and Clash‘s Grant Brydon said it was a “generous insight” into her healing process.
“Please Don’t Cry isn’t just Rapsody’s most personal and vulnerable album – it’s also her best. It’s often been said that music is therapy, but sometimes, going to therapy leads to making better music,” Aaron Williams of Uproxx added.
Please Don’t Cry is available for fans around the world. In the meantime, check out the graphic below to find out when Rapsody will stop by a city near you.
