PJ Tucker finds a new Eastern contender to help bring a championship as he did in 2021 with the Milwaukee Bucks. His defensive intensity and floor spacing with the three-point shooting in the corner is always desirable for any team that wants to compete and he also fits well with Joel Embiid playing style.
Tucker signed a two-year deal with the Miami Heat in 2021 but opted out of the contract with a player option in the second year to look for more money in a new deal. In Miami, he played 71 games, he started 70 of them, averaging 7.6 points and 5.5 rebounds in 27.9 minutes per game while shooting 41.5% from the three-point line.
In other moves, the Sixers agreed to re-signed guard Trevelin Queen to a two-year deal worth $3.3 million as reported by Chris Haynes from Yahoo Sports.
