The Toronto Raptors were able to retain their two big free agents in Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka but keeping them would come at the cost of retaining some pivotal role players. They lost forward P.J. Tucker to the Houston Rockets over the weekend and it appears they’ll also lose a starting forward.
Patrick Patterson has reportedly agreed to terms with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As the Thunder continue to round out their roster following the acquisition of Patrick Patterson, they used just about all of their mid-level exception to acquire 2-Pat. They reportedly had discussions with Rudy Gay but that never really worked out due mostly to a difference in money.
Patterson will ultimately slide in as the starting power forward for the Thunder following the departure of Taj Gibson to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
