Super Bowl Champion Odell Beckham Jr. has reportedly reached an agreement with the Baltimore Ravens. The one-year deal is reportedly worth up to $18 million with $15 million guaranteed. The news was first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Beckham Jr. last played for the Los Angeles Rams on February 13, 2022 at SoFi Stadium in Super Bowl LVI. Targeted three times, the Louisiana native caught two passes for 52 yards and one touchdown. The star wide receiver suffered a knee injury in the second quarter and was sidelined for the remainder of the game. The Rams went on to win Super Bowl LVI, beating the Bengals by a score of 23-20.
Beckham Jr. was unable to play during the 2022-2023 NFL season as he recovered from the injuries he sustained in Super Bowl LVI. During this time period, he reportedly met with the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys and several other teams. The LSU star was also set to meet with the New York Jets on Monday, but it appears he has already found his new home.
On Sunday afternoon, Beckham Jr. shared a picture of his son, Zydn, wearing a Lamar Jackson jersey and a Baltimore Ravens hat. The caption of the photo reads, “Flock.”
“Let’s flocking go, baby,” one fan commented.
“It’s our time,” another fan added.
Beckham Jr. will join a wide receiver core that currently includes Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor, James Proche II and Mike Thomas. At this time, it is unclear who will be throwing passes for Baltimore. The team’s franchise quarterback has formally requested a trade, but Baltimore has the ability to place a franchise tag on Lamar Jackson.
