The New England Patriots have traded wide receiver, N’Keal Harry, to the Chicago Bears for a 2024 7th-round pick. Speculation arose this week that the team would cut the struggling wide receiver in the coming days. The Bears stepped in and acquired the 2019 NFL Draft first-round pick for a 7th-round pick. Harry never quite caught on with the Patriots roster that was lacking serious wide receiver depth in the years he was with the team. He has been labeled a bust in the NFL, but has a chance to right his career with Chicago.
At long last, the #Patriots trade former first-rounder N’Keal Harry and it’s the #Bears as his landing spot for a 2024 7th rounder, per me and @MikeGarafolo. A solid upside move for Chicago, while New England moves on with a strong group itself.

In his three-year NFL career with the New England Patriots, N’Keal Harry caught 57 passes for 598 yards and four touchdowns on 103 targets. He also rushed the ball seven times for 49 yards and zero touchdowns. For a first-round pick, this is not the level of production that the New England Patriots were hoping for from Harry. Perhaps with less pressure, he can develop chemistry with Bears quarterback Justin Fields and produce more on the field.
On WR N’Keal Harry’s trade to Chicago a source says they believe “sometimes a change of scenery is necessary.” The belief is that Harry will add to the competition at the position, and the hope is he’ll continue to develop when they pour into him.

The Chicago Bears’ wide receiver depth is fairly thin going into the season and perhaps this is a good landing spot for N’Keal Harry. Time will tell how this move works out and for a 7th-round pick the risk is more than worth it.
