Introducing the NikeLab Roshe Cortez.
The reimagined, hybrid design combines the iconic lines of the original Cortez runner with the modern comfort of the Roshe One in the form of natural motion tooling.
Founded in the 1960s by Phil Knight and legendary Oregon track coach Bill Bowerman, the running-centric Blue Ribbon Sports would go onto become Nike in the early ‘70s. Now, the new design’s insole features classic BRS insignia; a nod to the Swoosh’s humble origins and the Cortez’s storied history.
True to form, the iconic design is dressed in an original Cortez colorway. Updates include a leather heel tab, a rubber toe guard, and a vintage-treated tongue for classic style.
Available June 18 at nike.com/nikelab and select #NikeLab destinations worldwide.
