Fans of Kobe and his signature line, there may just be hope after his retirement after all if you were looking to get new signature shoes. With the Nike Kobe 11 ‘Achilles Heel’ scheduled to kick start what’s assumed to be his last signature shoe number, this upcoming January it appears that we will be getting another sneaker from the Swoosh for the Black Mamba.
Now I know what you guys are thinking why the shroud? I had the same question because it gives the shoe a Nike Zoom Flight Glove look. The Nike Zoom Kobe Icon features the sole of the Nike Kobe 6 and I have this strange feeling the purpose of the Zoom Kobe Icon is to form hybrid sneakers using Kobe’s signature shoes with those of other signature lines from Nike athletes. This is just a wild guess but we will see what happens.
