On Tuesday night, the Boston Celtics locked in for an ESPN prime time match-up against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Kyrie and company held off a potential second half comeback by Minnesota to win by thirteen. The Celtics managed to do all of this without Kyrie Irving who sat out the game with an eye injury. While he was sitting out last night’s game, sneaker heads and basketball fans alike got some major news regarding the 2016 NBA Champion.
The Nike Kyrie 5 “Just Do It” sneakers will be released on January 25th. The sneakers feature a black, blue and hot pink color scheme with the phrase, “Just Do It”, on the side. The colorful sneaker release will drop late January with a price tag of $130. However, the kids pairs will come at a discounted price of about $110. Per usual, these sneakers will be released at select Nike retailers and on the Nike website. Be sure to stay alert for a chance to cop a pair of the colorful sneakers.
