The reviews and reactions by sneaker heads for the Nike KD 8 Elite were mixed, to say the least. Some were feeling the new look for KD’s 8th signature shoe and many were perplexed by it. The perplexity came largely due to the built-in, crew-length compression sock for enhanced support. Now myself included, I was thrown off a bit by the compression sock but when you factor in the performance aspect of what it’s purpose is, it makes sense. Now when you look at it from a fashion standpoint one has to wonder, how could you possibly pull these off. I’m not here to give fashion tips so how you rock them would be completely on you and how you see fit.
The official pictures in the unveiling didn’t really do the shoe justice, as I stated in the first report on these, the design is great I am just not too fond of the sock but with the new pictures I am sharing with you guys, our best look yet, may help many including myself determine our final decision before seeing them in person on whether we are sold.
First up for the KD Elite Series is the Nike KD 8 Elite ‘White’ which releases April 14th (last day of the regular season April 13th) at select retailers and Nike.com. Until you see them in person as I said, these new detailed pictures should be more than enough to help you decide if you are a fan or not.
