Could This Be The Nike KD 7 PRM ‘Aunt Pearl’?
Each year, Nike and Kevin Durant come together and liberate one of the most beloved colorways for his signature sneaker which pay homage to his beloved Aunt Pearl who fell victim to the battle with cancer.
We have seen a very eye catching execution done by Nike with a lot of pink being used whether it be with the KD 6 and its use of flower detailing on the entire upper or in the KD 5 with its all white upper with detailing on the entire upper using 3M.
This colorway which is White/Metallic Gold-Pink Pow-Pure Platinum is being dubbed the ‘Aunt Pearl’ for the 7’s and if you remember from Sneaker Reporters interview with Kevin he did say,
“The Aunt Pearl is different this year from the past years its going to be a shiny white and pink its going to be simple but hot. Just be on the look out because its going to be coming very soon.”
Lastly, there is a rumored release of February 19th so the stars are aligning for this wing designed strap KD 7. Aside from those hints there is still no conformation that they are but if I was a betting man I would say they are.
