The folks at Nike will continue to stick with tradition this year as they are set to release their 2016 Nike Basketball Easter Collection. Per usual our participants will come by way of their athletes; Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James signature shoes. Prior to seeing all four signature shoes, we have gotten first looks at the Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Easter’, Nike Kobe 11 ‘Easter’ and Nike LeBron 13 ‘Easter’. All that was left to be seen was the Nike KD 8 ‘Easter’. With all the talk surrounding Kevin and his shoes (KD 8 Elite & Nike KD 9), it only makes sense that he has been last.
The confirmed theme behind each shoe isn’t known yet but we do know they are Easter driven. I say confirmed theme simply because KD’s sneaker doesn’t utilize the typical Easter pastel colors as opposed to the LeBron 13 and Kyrie 2 while Kobe’s sneaker has a more darker theme which is indicated by the evil bunny logo on the back. Regardless if we know the theme we now have detailed pictures of all four sneakers courtesy of Kickz.
With a release date set for March 25, 2016 the colorway descriptions and retail prices are as listed;
Nike Kyrie 2 ($120) – White/Hyper Jade-Urban Lilac-Bright Mango
Nike KD 8 ($180) – Wolf Grey/Metallic Silver-White
Nike Kobe 11 ($200) – Dark Grey/Volt-Bright Mango-Court Purple
Nike LeBron 13 ($200) – White/Purple Platinum-Bright Mango-Action Green
