With this move, the Jazz are looking to boost up their bench after they lose Joe Ingles with a torn ACL injury for the remainder of the season. Alexander-Walker is a young prospect that scored 12.8 points per game mostly off the bench for the New Orleans Pelicans this season. He was traded to Portland in the CJ McCollum trade.
Juancho Hernangomez gets a chance to resuscitate his NBA career, he has only played 23 games this season and can serve as an option for the big position in a small-ball lineup that the Jazz haven’t figured out yet.
Utah is currently fourth in the Western Conference with a 33-21 record.
