NBA Picks 2/9/22
3-0 and one step closer to achieving generational wealth! Well, not really but it was an easy night for us last night. The Celtics, Grizzlies, and Mavericks all blew out their opponent and put them away in the first half. Let’s see if we can make it two 3-0 days in a row for the NBA Picks 2/9/22.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Sacramento Kings (+9) 10:10 p.m EST
What a disastrous trade for the Kings. Giving up on a talented and versatile young guard to chase a play-in spot is the Kingsiest move of all time. Certain franchises will never be able to compete with the well-run teams in the league. The Kings are one and their fans must be frustrated and angry. We are fading the Kings until further notice.
Pick: Minnesota Timberwolves -9 (-110 via DraftKings)
Chicago Bulls at Charlotte Hornets (+2) 7:40 p.m EST
One of our biggest preseason bets was the under on the Charlotte Hornets win total. There’s still a chance! We need the Hornets to have a rough stretch and Gordon Hayward’s absence could be enough for them to start sliding.
Pick: Chicago Bulls -2 (-110 via DraftKings)
Toronto Raptors at Oklahoma City Thunder (+9.5) 8:10 p.m EST
Point Siakam and company have been playing good basketball as of late. We still think the Raptors should shake things up but we are certain the emergence of Pascal Siakam will cause Masai Ujiri to stand pat and let things play out. The market for Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, and OG Anunoby will probably be better in the offseason once certain teams have more cap space and access to draft picks. For now, this version of the Raptors should easily defeat the lowly Thunder.
