During Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Ingles was driving to the basket and injured his knee. After, he didn’t come back to the game and left the court after playing only 12 minutes.

As of late, Ingles was having success in the league with the Jazz. Last season he was one of the runner-ups for the Sixth Man of the Year award, which his teammate Jordan Clarkson won, and was an important piece on a team that aspires to win the championship.
This season, in the last year of his contract, Ingles took a backseat on the offense and is averaging 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 24.9 minutes per game.
Currently, the Jazz holds the fourth seed of the Western Conference with a 30-21 record.
