Netflix has taken a bit of heat for canceling shows like Grand Army and The Society this year, but they have provided a bit of good news this week. The Circle will return for a third season this fall and it will return for a fourth and fifth season in the coming months. In addition, the streaming giant has renewed Indian Matchmaking and American Barbecue for season two as well. These three shows join a growing slate of reality shows on Netflix like Love Is Blind, Too Hot To Handle and Selling Sunset.
To get more fans involved, Netflix is also launching its own casting site. Subscribers can submit one-minute videos explaining why they are a good fit for one of Netflix’s many shows.
“Whether you love competition or cooking, dating or decor, style or a social experiment, we might have a show for you — either now or someday soon,” Brandon Riegg of Netflix said.
“Just select a category and submit your casting video to be considered for future seasons. To register, you must be 18 years or older, and right now we’re focused on the US, Canada, and the UK. No need for ring lights or glam, just be the real you!”
Those interested in taking a shot at reality television can visit NetflixReality.com to submit an application.
