Anyone dying to get a better look at the latest Walt Disney World addition, pay attention. According to Deadline, Freeform will be going behind-the-scenes in a new special, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Adventure Awaits hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
Part of the network’s ’30 Days of Disney’ celebration, Harris will explore how the new world of Batuu came to life in southern Florida. He won’t be alone though as Kaley Cuoco, Keegan-Michael Key, Jay Leno, Sarah Hyland, and Miles Brown will also be getting an in-depth look at the park. In the special, fans will learn more about the rides, restaurants, and other attractions offered at Galaxy’s Edge.
During Freeform’s ’30 Days of Disney,’ the network will also air premieres of Disney’s 2016 version of Pete’s Dragon, Iron Man, and Newsies: The Broadway Musical. There will also be a special airing Descendants 3, the recently-released Disney Channel Original Movie.
Otherwise, Disney’s having a pretty big week as the company announced a game-changing new streaming bundle. It also scrapped most of Fox’s in-development films after a $170 million loss in Q3. Don’t worry though Marvel Fans, plans were scrapped but, the X-Men are now officially in the hands of Kevin Feige.
