Only a few days remain until Floyd Mayweather Jr. returns to the ring. This time, he’s preparing to fight Youtube sensation and novice boxer, Logan Paul, in a highly-anticipated exhibition. In preparation for the event, Showtime has made a major announcement.
Showtime has revealed the names of those who will call the Paul-Mayweather fight from Hard Rock Stadium next Sunday. Leading the way, Showtime will call on their boxing regulars Al Bernstein, Brian Custer and Mauro Ranallo. Former MMA fighter Brendan Schaub and boxing champion Abner Mares will also help out with broadcasting duties. Headlining the broadcast team, The Kid Mero and Desus Nice will offer a bit of color commentary throughout the night. Rounding out the star-studded team, Jimmy Lennon Jr., will act as the in-ring announcer.
Mayweather and Paul are set to take the ring on June 6 in Miami, Florida. Preliminary bouts will feature Chad Johnson, Brian Maxwell, Jarrett Hurd and Luis Arias. The event will be led by Showtime and fans can purchase the fight through Fanmio.
