Matt Ryan is the latest quarterback on the move in this offseason. The Atlanta Falcons have traded him after 14 years together to the Indianapolis Colts for a third-round draft pick, according to Tom Pelissero from NFL Network. The trade will leave the Falcons with a $40 million dead cap hit for 2022.

The QB market has been shifting throughout the whole league and now the Falcons are on the look for their next quarterback. Two options have already floated around.
Mike Garafolo from NFL Network, reported that Atlanta is expected to pursue Marcus Mariota given the relationship he has with Head Coach Arthur Smith. The other name is the former Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield that is looking for a new city to play for.
In his 14 years with the Falcons, Ryan throw for 62407 passing yards and 387 touchdown passes. He also ran for 1512 yards and got 13 rushing touchdowns.
Also, with the news of the trade, Darius Leonard has started the recruiting process for the Colts to sign Ryan’s favorite target for most of his career in Atlanta: Julio Jones.
@juliojones_11 aye man hear me out! Matt have already thrown you a lot of touchdowns in the dome in Atlanta, y’all could finish what y’all started in Atlanta in the dome here in Indy! ?
