Claressa Shields is taking her talents and hitting the road. For the first time since October 15, 2022, the 18-time world champion will fight outside of the state of Michigan. On Saturday, August 8, 2026, she will challenge Kaye Scott for the WBA and WBC Middleweight Championships at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on DAZN.
It will mark Shields’s first fight at middleweight since 2023. She defeated Maricela Cornejo to retain all four major world titles and the RING Magazine title and maintain her perfect professional record. Now, she returns for a tough fight against Kaye Scott and potentially future fights against Lauren Price, Tamm Thibeault, and Mikaela Mayer.
While she’ll be the only one in the ring with Scott once the first bell sounds, Shields is not coming to State Farm Arena alone. Three-time GRAMMY-nominated artist Latto will join the five-division world champion as she walks to the ring.

Diamond The Body will also join fast-rising light heavyweight Atif Olberton as he makes his way to the ring for his fight against Roamer Alexis Angulo.
