Lowry is at the heart of the Raptors offense, orchestrating one of the league’s top teams. In his 58 appearances in the regular season, Lowry has averaged 19.4 points, 7.5 assists, and 5 rebounds per game.
The Raptors finished the season with a record 53-19, second place in the Eastern Conference, exceeding the estimations most had placed on the team following the departure of Kawhi Leonard to the Los Angeles Clippers. Toronto is currently preparing to take on the Boston Celtics in the second round of the NBA Playoffs, starting Thursday.
Since being traded to the Raptors from the Houston Rockets in 2012, Lowry has been named a six-time All-Star, has become the Raptors’ all-time leader in assists, and was a pivotal piece in bringing Toronto their first NBA championship last season.
