Head Coach Tommy Lloyd and the Arizona Wildcats have received the commitment of 2023 top four-star shooting guard KJ Lewis. While most recruiting websites have him in their top 65, he is starting to make it into the top 30 of several sites. He committed to the Arizona Wildcats over the Alabama Crimson Tide, Arkansas Razorbacks, Baylor Bears, Houston Cougars, Memphis Tigers, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and UCLA Bruins. Five-star recruits help define a program, but top four-stars help keeps it stable long term.

KJ Lewis is a talented prospect and could border five-star status by the time he’s ready to suit up for Arizona in the Fall of 2023. He will be joining recently committed 2023 top 15 recruit and top three point guard Kylan Boswell on the Arizona Wildcats roster at that time. Head Coach Tommy Llyod already has the team winning games and is now starting to win over talented recruits. Lewis should come into the program and provide an immediate impact along with Boswell.

The Arizona Wildcats program is in a new era under their new Head Coach Tommy Lloyd. Winning early and pulling in top-rated recruits is a great way to start a new coaching tenure off correctly. KJ Lewis could end up playing two or more years and help further anchor a new culture and winning ways for the program. The shooting guard has NBA aspirations and has the talent to get there eventually. That being said he could even be a “one and done” talent if he plays well on the court.
