Kendrick Lamar has returned with the first visual release from his fourth studio album, Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers. As teased by pgLang’s Dave Free yesterday, the Compton native has unveiled the “N95” video. Co-directed by Lamar and Free, the three-minute piece features a number of surreal shots, complete with a cameo from Baby Keem and references to Jesus Christ. Somehow, it all feels very true to who Kendrick Lamar is and what he has presented visually throughout the early stages of this album rollout.
In addition to sharing the “N95” video, Kendrick Lamar has also announced that he will embark on a 65-date world tour beginning this summer. Over the the second half of the year, the Compton native plans to perform everywhere from Kansas City, Missouri to Paris, France. Along his journey, he will be joined by pgLang’s Tanna Leone and Baby Keem. Tickets for the tour won’t go on sale until next week, but the “N95” video is available now. Check out the visual project below.
