Kaytranada may be busy touring the world with The Weeknd and company, but it appears that he’s also preparing to release new music in the near future. On Tuesday, the Grammy Award winner shared a tweet that hinted at what may be in store for the future.
“Stand Up Guy Records coming soon,” Kaytranada tweeted.
Kaytranada released his last album, Bubba, through RCA Records, but it appears that he may be developing his own imprint. Shortly after teasing the launching of his own record imprint, a video surfaced of the renowned producer playing an unreleased collaboration with Childish Gambino for fans.
“I need this album sooner than later,” one fan commented in response to the video clip.
“I need this like yesterday,” another fan wrote.
Completing his recent run of teases, Kaytranada shared a trailer for what appears to be a new collaboration with Anderson .Paak.
“Twin Flame, aug 2,” he wrote.
It’s unclear exactly what Kaytranada has in store, but it’s clearly going to be big. In the words of Will Ferrell, new Kaytranada music gets the people going. Check out the “Twin Flame” trailer below.
