Los Angeles Clippers Forward Kawhi Leonard may be in the NBA offseason, but he is taking no days off. Not long ago, he shared the second single, “Waves” featuring Polo G and Gunna, from his upcoming compilation, Culture Jam. Now, he’s back with yet another surprise.
This month, Leonard is pushing his new single with Polo G and Gunna to new heights. To support the release of “Waves,” the two-time NBA champion has developed an online video game to promote the record. Developed by Krool Toys, the game challenges players to be like Leonard in the 4th quarter. Hit as many shots in the allotted period of time while “Waves” plays in the background.
“Rooted in nostalgia, the game was inspired by the classic game, NBA Jam, and transforms the player into a basketball star. The game was imagined by the Krool Toys crew who have also designed video games for Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Rod Wave and others,” a statement from Leonard and the Culture Jam team reads.
This video game is the latest example of Leonard stepping out and showing us that he is so much more than the talented player we see on the court. Check out “Waves” below and be sure to give his new video game a shot as well.
