The COVID-19 pandemic has left many of the small businesses we know and love with several financial hurdles heading into the fall. While certain government programs have supported local entrepreneurs, others have left our favorite stores looking for answers. To help out, A$AP Ferg has stepped in to help some of the most important businesses in the nation’s biggest city, bodegas.
In partnership with Snapple, A$AP Ferg has launched the “A Snapple Corner Story” campaign. This two-part initiative features new merchandise and a documentary that highlights bodega owners around the city. All proceeds from the campaign are then pushed toward bodega owners looking to make it through what feels like a never-ending pandemic.
“A native New Yorker on the pulse of music and art – A$AP Ferg was the perfect creator to collaborate with on this initiative. It’s an authentic partnership that gives back to Snapple’s roots and highlights the enduring culture of New York City,” Katie Webb of Snapple’s parent company, Keurig Dr. Pepper, said.
“The chance to partner with Snapple on this film was an incredible opportunity. I’ve been a fan of Snapple all my life, and being able to give back to the community and the people who made me who I am today means everything to me,” Ferg added.
