Just a few weeks after earning eight nominations at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, Justin Bieber is back with new music. This time around, he has teamed up with Don Toliver for a new track called “Honest.”
“Honest” deviates in from many of the tracks on Justice in a few ways. Most notably, the track has more of an uptempo trap feel that deviates from the Pop-infused R&B sound that was featured on “Peaches” with Daniel Caesar and Giveon. Furthermore, the track seemingly fits more of Don Toliver’s sound than his own. Still, Justin Bieber is able to adapt to the track and carve out his own pocket.
“You get spicy/I like that cajun on you/On occasion/That’s your testimony,” he sings.
“I like that hazel on you/I look straight in your eyes/Holy matrimony.”
Justin Bieber is not done just yet. Following the release of “Honest” with Don Toliver, the pop star will prepare for an upcoming world tour in support of his latest project, Justice. Beginning in early May, the chart-topping artist will take his talents around the United States, Mexico, Canada, Europe and beyond.
