Four-Star forward Johnny Juzang has committed to the Kentucky Wildcats for the class of 2019, adding to the impressive class that John Calipari is bringing in this year. The forward was originally a member of the 2020 recruiting class but reclassified to 2019 before he committed to the Wildcats.

This is Kentucky’s fourth recruit in the top 32 and their fifth recruit overall in the class of 2019. Pairing that with likely returners, the actual return of Ashton Hagans, and the transfer of graduate student Nate Sestina from Bucknell should make the Wildcats a serious contender.
This puts the Wildcats on pair with the Duke Blue Devils for the best recruiting class in 2019. The Wildcats have a ridiculous amount of wings on the roster that will be fighting for minutes in the upcoming season. The latest addition to the 2019 Wildcats recruiting class could be a talented prospect that stays with the Wildcats for more than one year.
The forward was previously listed as a five-star but was shifted down to a top four-star after he reclassified to the 2019 recruiting class. The talent to assist the Wildcats is there in the young forward. He is listed at 6’6″ and 200 pounds. The rotation and minutes for Kentucky are a bit dicey, but head coach John Calipari always seems to find a way to land these guys.
The Wildcats are also believed to be the heavy favorites for top 10 recruit Jaden McDaniels. The five-star power forward would ridiculously stack the Kentucky roster next year. He will be deciding soon and it appears that the commitment of Juzang will not impact that decision. John Calipari has some serious talent leaving but has reloaded for the upcoming season.
