This year, Fivio Foreign has elevated his presence in the global music scene immensely. Not only did he deliver with “City of Gods” with Kanye West and Alicia Keys, but he also shared collaborations with the City Girls and Nicki Minaj. To top it all off, he released his debut studio album, B.I.B.L.E, with a variety of artists, including Chlöe, Queen Naija, Quavo, Ne-Yo, Coi Leray and several others. Now, it appears he’s taking his act overseas as he teams up with Jnr Choi for the “Amused” video.
Jnr Choi asserted himself as one of the fastest rising artists in London with the success of “To The Moon” featuring Sam Tompkins. The chart-topping track sparked remixes with a number of American artists, including Gunna, G Herbo and of course, Fivio Foreign. Months after collaborating on the “To The Moon” remix, the duo has returned with a hard-hitting track called “Amused.” Backed by drill production from JRocs and Lekaa Beats, the two artists trade bars.
“They better give it to me how I want. They offered me $50,000, but I didn’t want it. I don’t have to tell them n*ggas how I’m coming. I’ve been forgetting people like it’s nothing,” Fivio Foreign raps.
“I’ve been a gangsta for too long. The perc can’t kill me I’m too strong. She don’t see nothing that I do wrong.”
Fivio Foreign is far from the only New York artist to drop this weekend. Bobby Shmurda delivered the Bodboy EP, Ron Suno dropped Suno Mode and Nicki Minaj set the release date for her upcoming single. During what has been a great weekend for New York artists, check out the “Amused” video below with Jnr Choi and Fivio Foreign below.
