
Jesus Martinez will reportedly make his pro debut in Mexico on June 10, 2022. Martinez will fight Daniel Nunez Gomez on DAZN during the streaming service’s broadcast of the Hiroto Kyoguchi-Esteban Bermudez bout.
“First and foremost, I’m really excited and pumped up to be on a Matchroom and DAZN show,” Martinez said, according to Bad Left Hook.
“I’m excited to be able to show the world all my skills and what I am about. I can’t wait for June 10 to show real fireworks.”
Martinez is one of the most decorated amateurs in recent memory. The 17-year-old Texas native has is a 14-time U.S. amateur national champion with an international record of 137-9.
Martinez is not the only fighter of interest traveling down to Mexico next month. 122-pound champion Mayerlin Rivas, Diego Pacheco, Jorge Castaneda and Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez will also step into the ring on June 10, 2022.
