Jess Sims will amplify ESPN’s coverage of men’s basketball during the 2023-2024 season.
“Jess has an incredible energy that connects with fans and viewers, and we’ve seen the impact she’s already had during her two years with ESPN,” ESPN’s Meg Aronowitz said.
“Her background and passion for basketball will be a welcome addition to our robust roster of commentators on our men’s college basketball coverage.”
Sims previously contributed to ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot. Taking over for Holly Rowe, she will work as a sideline reporter for ESPN Saturday primetime college basketball games beginning January 13.
Prior to working at ESPN, Sims played basketball at Trinity College. After graduating, she began teaching fitness classes in New York before transitioning to Peloton in 2018. Since then, she has served as an in-arena host and sideline reporter for the New York Liberty and secured a contributing role with Good Morning America.
“It’s an absolute honor to be joining the incredibly talented Saturday Primetime team! Basketball was my first love and it continues to shape the person I am both on and off the court,” Sims said.
“I am beyond thrilled to be back on the court for the biggest games each week.”
