Jerrell Colbert has committed to LSU and marks Will Wade’s second commit of the day, this time in the class of 2021. Colbert marks LSU’s first commit in the class of 2021 as Will Wade continues to recruit at a high level. He’s currently sitting on the sixth-ranked class in 2020 which follows up a top-five class in 2018 and bringing in five-star Trendon Watford in 2019.
Will Wade has been on a roll ever since taking over LSU with his ability to recruit. His teams have generally been solid yet unspectacular. As long as he continues to recruit like this, things should continue to trend upward as long as what happened with the FBI scandal doesn’t come down on the program.

Colbert is a skinny big man currently but as only a junior in high school, he has time to put on some weight. He’s skilled with the ability to handle the ball and pass well for a player of his size. In addition, he has shown the ability to face up and score in a variety of ways. His ability to block shots is also a big reason he’s rated so high. Assuming the commitment sticks, Will Wade just landed himself another talented big man.
