Florida State has landed the commitment of 2021 five-star combo guard Jalen Warley. The recruiting process for the 2021 class had been odd largely due to the Coronavirus Outbreak. Players and coaches are making decisions mostly over video calls and without the recruits really getting the chance to go to the campus. Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton hasn’t let this slow him down on the recruiting trail. Warley is the program’s 4th high school recruit in the 2021 class and gives them the number one team ranking in 2021 for the moment.

Florida State is coming off a first-place regular-season finish in the ACC and it looks like Leonard Hamilton wants to keep the Seminoles on top. Warley will join three other prospects that are ranked in the Top 60 of the 2021 recruiting class. The Seminoles also have a talented JUCO prospect coming in with the 2021 high school prospects. Jalen Warley is the first five-star in the class, but guard Matthew Cleveland is ranked right at the five-star cutoff and things could change for him before he heads to Florida State. This is an impressive recruiting class that should spend multiple years together on the Florida State roster.
Jalen Warley did not mince words when announcing his commitment to Leonard Hamilton and the Seminoles. He is going to Florida State to help bring them a national championship. Leonard Hamilton is incredibly talented and almost always fields a competitive roster in an always talented ACC. The Seminoles have always fielded good rosters but have only made the Elite Eight once under Hamilton. There is no denying that Leonard Hamilton is a force in the ACC.
