Jadakiss and Greg Street are reportedly working together to produce a new project called Kiss The South.
“We’ve been talking about this for some years now,” Greg Street said.
“Kiss The South, man. [It’s] Jadakiss [and] Greg Street. I’m [going to] come to the A. I’m going to stay here until we complete the joint,” Jadakiss said.
Artists locking in with a singular producer or DJ to craft a new project is a formula as old as the genre itself. Recently, 21 Savage teamed up with Metro Boomin’ to unload Savage Mode II and Nas called on Hit-Boy for four projects.
Jadakiss had the world of music in the palm of his hand in 2021 following his iconic Verzuz performance at the Hulu Theater in New York, New York. Since then, he’s appeared on I Am Athlete, collaborated with DJ Khaled and went on tour with The Lox, but he has not put out a solo project since 2020.
