One of the most popular podcasts in sports is hitting the road. Brandon Marshall, Adam “Pacman” Jones and company are hitting the road for the first-ever I Am Athlete tour. The popular, weekly show has teamed up with City Winery for live shows in six cities this fall. Things will kick off in New York on September 10 before stopping in Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. Ultimately things will come to a close in Dallas, Texas on December 9, 2022 at The Echo Lounge & MusicHall.
I Am Athlete debuted on April 9, 2020 with Marshall, Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder leading the way. As the show developed, former NFL star Chad Johnson joined the main cast as well. Along the way, Dwyane Wade, Rick Ross and several others stopped by the show. From there, the media brand branched off and launched a second show in Los Angeles. While the second show launched in California, Taylor and Crowder left the original cast in Miami, Florida due to a dispute with Marshall. Taylor and Crowder teamed up with Ryan Clark and launched The Pivot, which has feature Floyd Mayweather Jr., Kevin Hart and Shaquille O’Neal. Meanwhile, I Am Athlete has continued to grow by launching I Am Athlete Tonight and From The Bench with Corey Holmes.
In preparation for the first live I Am Athlete show, Jones and Marshall have appeared on The Breakfast Club and teased the addition of guests for each of their live shows. The first guest is expected to be announced on September 9, 2022 at noon. While fans wait for that special announcement, check out the full interview below.
