Jack Harlow is prepared to return with his second studio album in less than 12 months. The Louisville, Kentucky is scheduled to release Jackman on Friday, April 28, 2023.
“Jackman, my new album, [will be] out this Friday – 4/28,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
The Generation Now artist released his sophomore studio LP, Come Home The Kids Miss You, on May 6, 2022. The 15-track featured singles like “Nail Tech,” “Dua Lipa” and “First Class.” Harlow’s 2022 body of work also included guest appearances from Pharrell Williams, Drake, Justin Timberlake and Lil’ Wayne. It debuted third on the Billboard 200 chart with more than 110,000 units moved during its first week on streaming services.
In the months that have followed the release of Come Home The Kids Miss You, Jack Harlow has performed at the BET Awards, contributed a verse to DJ Drama’s I’m Really Like That and toured with the City Girls. Not to be forgotten, the Kentucky native is set to star in the latest edition of White Men Can’t Jump.
“From 20th Century Studios, the all-new comedy White Men Can’t Jump is a modern remix of the iconic 1992 film that celebrates the streetball hustling culture of Los Angeles. Multi-platinum rap superstar Jack Harlow makes his movie debut as Jeremy, a former star of the game whose injuries stalled his career, and Sinqua Walls stars as Kamal, once a promising player who derailed his own future in the sport,” the synopsis reads.
“Juggling tenuous relationships, financial pressures and serious internal struggles, the two ballers–opposites who are seemingly miles apart–find they might have more in common than they imagined possible.”
Harlow is set to make his Hollywood debut on May 19, 2023. Until then, check out the cover for Jackman below.
