It may have taken five years, but it was well worth the wait. Isaiah Rashad’s The House Is Burning arrived last month with incredible solo records like “RIP Young” and “Don’t Shoot” along with great TDE guest verses from Jay Rock and ScHoolboy Q. Since the album’s release, one track has stood out from the mellow vibe that consumes the majority of the project. Produced by Kal Banx, “From The Garden” has a punch and lively nature that gets everyone going.
“Came out bustin’, came out puffin’, came out f*ckin’ on your cousin/I do all these floozies worser than they daddy, but you love her/You in trouble, I’m Lil Sunny, I’m gon’ barbecue with Satan,” the Chattanooga native raps.
Keeping in line with the lively nature, Isaiah Rashad has linked up with Omar Jones for an energetic and cinematic visual that fits the track perfectly. On a single street, Jones tells the story of a wild night that includes ATVs, liquor and a police car. It’s pretty hard to put into words, so check out the video for yourself below.
