The cast of Euphoria has just gotten a bit bigger. This week, HBO revealed that singer-songwriter Dominic Fike, model Minka Kelly and rising actor Demetrius Flenory Jr. will join Euphoria as it enters season two. Little is known about Kelly and Felnory Jr.’s roles, but Fike told Variety that his character is a “degenerate” teen that hangs around Rue and Jules.
Season one of Euphoria ended more than two years ago. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has presented problems for the cast and crew as they attempt to finish out season two. To hold fans over, Euphoria creator Sam Levinson put together two special episodes highlighting Zendaya’s Rue and Hunter Schafer’s Jules following the season one finale. Months after their release, the two special episodes received three EMMY nominations.
Levinson and company have picked production back up and hope to share a release date for season two in the near future. In the meantime, fans will just have to wait for more news.
