Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged much of the country and left many unable to enjoy many forms of entertainment that usually get us by. In spite of the pandemic, the Euphoria team has been hard at work. Sam Levinson has built the Oscar buzzing film, Malcolm & Marie, starring Zendaya and John David Washington. He’s also put together a special episode of Euphoria starring Zendaya’s character, Rue, and her sponsor, Ali, played by Colman Domingo. Now, he’s turning his attention toward another special episode centered around Jules, played by Hunter Schafer.
Much like the first special episode, the second special will focus on Jules after an explosive season finale. She will reflect on the year as Christmas break passes by.

“Rue was the first girl that didn’t just look at me. She actually saw me — the me that’s underneath a million layers of not me,” Jules said.
“So why’d you run away?” an unknown voice answers.
To the delight of Euphoria fans, the special will debut a few days early. Instead of debuting on Sunday, the special will begin streaming on HBO Max on January 22. While we wait for Friday to come, check out the trailer above.
