Fans of the most iconic simulation racer, here’s your time to bask in happiness. During Paris Games Week 2015, Polyphony took to the stage Sony provided and announced the new Gran Turismo Sport and let it be know that fans will be be able to get their hands on it in 2016.
With the announcement, Polyphony released a detailed blog via PlayStation.
Polyphony will be teaming up with the legendary FIA to bring two online championships to Gran Turismo Sport. Players will be able to drive as themselves in a Nations Cup, which will be them racing to represent their respective hometown and a Manufacturers Cup, which will be the player representing their respective manufacture.
Polyphony also announced that there will be a beta coming Spring 2016. Stay tuned for more info from the developers soon and check out the trailer above.
