Within the last few months, a number of records have made the case for the mythical “Song of the Summer” title. Leading the way, Burna Boy’s “Last Last” has managed to infiltrate nearly every day party and festival set. Not far behind, Bad Bunny has served up a trio of records that have seemingly lived on the charts since the temperature rose above 75 degrees Fahrenheit. In the mix with all of these aforementioned records is Glorilla and Hitkidd’s “F.N.F.”
Some of the records mentioned above may be performing better on the charts, but none of them have had quite the real-life impact that “F.N.F” has had. Not only does it shift the energy at nearly every function it is played at, but it caught the attention of Yo Gotti’s CMG and resulted in her being signed. Also, some of the “ratchet a** friends” that the Memphis native mentions throughout the song’s chorus just so happened to be recording artists that ended up at Quality Control and a slew of other labels.
Months after “F.N.F” popped up on the scene, Glorilla has returned with an official remix. This time around, she calls on Latto and JT of the City Girls to add their own flavor to the hit single and they do not disappoint.
“I don’t care who he f*ck wit’/B*tch, I can’t be f*cked wit’/Must be gone off percs if you ever thought you f*cked this,” JT raps.
“I’m f*ck n*gga free, I ain’t doin’ no arguin’/They ain’t sh*t without me, all my exes like Safaree/All my opps scary, they won’t pop up at the party/Got them b*tches runnin’ from me, like a episode of Maury,” Latto adds.
