At the top of month, Collective Music Group got off to a fast start. Not only did emerging star Glorilla join the label, but Yo Gotti also teased a compilation project that would include the collective’s biggest stars.
“On the real, I think it’s about time. Everybody keeps asking for it. ‘When [are] we [going to] do a tour? When [are] we [going to] do a project together? I think it’s about time, man,” he said.
Days later, Yo Gotti returned to officially announce that CMG would officially release a compilation project. The project is jam packed with 27 tracks and new verses from Moneybagg Yo, EST Gee, Glorilla, Blocboy JB, Mozzy, 42 Dugg and Yo Gotti. Not to be forgotten, there are also guest verses from Kodak Black, Coi Leray and many others.
“This is CMG’s album. You know what I’m saying? History! You ain’t never seen this many gangstas in the same squad. You [have] never seen this much money without issues. You know what I’m saying? You ain’t never seen this many big dogs come together,” Yo Gotti said about his blossoming label.
