Back at E3 2015, Epic Games announced Gears Of War 4 along with unveiling some gameplay. They announced the game would be releasing Holiday 2016, but things may be changing. In a recent Microsoft stream, a representative let the cat out of the bag on Gears Of War 4 stating it “may launch a little sooner than expected.”
In addition to the release date being moved up, fans wont have to wait until Fall 2016 to play the game. Epic Games will have a beta for Gears 4 launching this Spring.
The same Microsoft rep who announced that Gears will be releasing this Fall, also revealed that almost 50% of players that have picked up the Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition Xbox One bundle are new players.
