NBA Picks 4/6/22
Last night was disappointing. The 76ers dominated the entire game but failed to cover against the Pacers. They took their foot off the gas pedal and the game was more lopsided than the score might indicate. The Bucks took care of business against the Bulls while the Hornets laid an egg against the Heat. Hands up, that’s on us. There’s a lot of basketball left this week so let’s hop into tonight’s slate with the NBA Picks 4/6/22.
Dallas Mavericks at Detroit Pistons (+8.5) 7:10 p.m EST
The Pistons put the fear of God in me. They have no reason to play hard and yet, I have no doubt that they will. Ultimately, the Mavericks are motivated to land the 3 seed and I think they’ll pull away in the second half. I would sprinkle something on the Pistons to win the 1st quarter but go big on the Mavs to cover overall.
Pick: Dallas Mavericks -8.5 (-110 via DraftKings)

Boston Celtics at Chicago Bulls (+7) 8:10 p.m EST
With news Lonzo Ball is out for the season, the air has been taken out of the Bull’s tires. The Celtics are in the midst of a 3 way battle for the number 2 seed and I expect they will put their best foot forward tonight.
Pick: Boston Celtics -7 (-110 via DraftKings)

Brooklyn Nets at Knicks (+5) 7:40 p.m EST
The Brooklyn Nets are the more talented team and have something to play for.
