NBA Picks 2/4/22
We were so close to a 2-1 day. The Timberwolves stayed hot and picked up an important win against the Pistons. In a matchup of two hot teams, it was the Hawks that came out on top. The Suns tried to make it interesting but every time they went on a run the Hawks responded with one of their own. Ultimately, our fate was decided by the Bulls and Raptors game. The Bulls did a great job of forcing overtime but had nothing left in the tank for the extra period. It was a tough loss but we’re on to tonight’s slate for the NBA Picks 2/4/22.
Philadelphia 76ers at Dallas Mavericks (-2) (via Draftkings)
Joel Embiid may eclipse Kobe’s 81 point game tonight. In all seriousness, the Mavericks have no answer for Embiid. The combination of Dwight Powell, Marques Chriss, and Moses Brown don’t stand a chance. We might see Boban come in and try and bang with him but even at his height, he doesn’t stand a chance due to his lack of agility. Plus, the Mavs have flat-out stunk the past two games. Getting two points here is a gift.
Pick: Philadelphia 76ers +2
Chicago Bulls at Indiana Pacers (+2.5) (via Draftkings)
The Bulls are on the second night of a back to back but it’s the Pacers we’re talking about. Even with tired legs, the Bulls should have enough to get past Indiana.
Pick: Chicago Bulls -2.5
Boston Celtics at Detroit Pistons (+9.5) (via Draftkings)
The Celtics are hot and the Pistons have been ice cold. The line is low enough to feel comfortable taking the Celtics. In losses, the Pistons haven’t been very competitive.
